Naruto Slugfest has a new patch update, local publisher Cubizone said in a press release sent to keepsakes.

The new content and update of the game patch includes an additional Chapter 7 (titled “The Unseen Enemy”), following the battle between Naruto, Pain and other Naruto Shippuden Characters.

Naruto Slugfest patch’s new features

Included as well in the update is the increased Level Cap, allowing players to raise their stats up to Level 70 through multiple quests.

Multiple PvP and PvE features are launched with the update, like Avalanche which allows Players to challenge their PvP prowess in a Cross Server Ranking Event. Players can also try other features such as Assault Drill and Partner Trial.

Feature Highlights

Here are the highlights of the new patch’s features described in the announcement:

Avalanche – Your attack and PvP skills will be put to test in a 20 vs 20 Cross-server massive objective-based PvP / PvE mode in this new game feature.

Partner Trial – Get to PvP with Naruto Shippuden Character Partners. Earn points and exchange in Partner Trial Shop to get rewards.

Assault Drill – Defend all of your 4 towers from Sunagakure mobs. Each wave will last 2 minutes and you need to defeat them before they destroy your towers. Each wave consists of 21 mobs and it will carry over to the next wave if your clan didn’t kill them immediately.

Weapon Fashion – Make your character stand out. Customize your character with these new weapon fashions.

UI Updates – This patch also features additional system features, items added, optimization and bug fixes as in line with improving the game experience of players in Naruto Slugfest. 

Naruto Slugfest was presented to the media last year, bringing the Naruto Shippuden experience to mobile devices.

Our friends at Cubizone has informed us that their latest licensed mobile game Naruto Slugfest is now on Open Beta Testing, and you can get the game on Android and iOS, two months after they told us about the Closed Beta Testing.

Based on Masashi Kishimoto’s popular “Naruto Shippuden” title, Naruto Slugfest is dubbed as the world’s first 3D Open World Action MMORPG mobile game which featured 3D cinematic visuals and an environment that resembles the world of Naruto.

Players in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei, Timor-Leste), India, and Australia can now enjoy the game on their smartphones. 

The story of Naruto Slugfest

The game’s plot starts in the Naruto Shippuden timeline where Naruto comes back to the Konoha Village after a two-year-long training with Jiraiya. At the same time, the Five Shinobi Nations are now facing the biggest threat as the Akatsuki starts to become more active. 

Aside from coming back from training, Naruto must also deal with the loss of someone he considers a brother—Sasuke, who joins Orochimaru in exchange for power in order to have his revenge on his brother Itachi. ​​

With 4 game classes (the melee Earth Keeper, the range-type Blazing Lotus, the medium-range Thunder Assassin, and the long-range Wind Shooter) ranked missions, solo quests and clan battles which allows a 20-v-20 fight, a leveled-up friendship system and a living system which gives you the true feel of the shinobi journey, you can start your very own Ninja story with Naruto Slugfest.

The Closed Beta Testing is set from January 3 to 10, 2020. More information on how players can use their CBT keys are on this page.

Those who qualified for the CBT shall look forward to the following in-game events which will provide rewards once done:

• PVP King 3 Days (Rank at the Ninja Arena)
• Keep up, Ninjas (Level up your Character)

Naruto: Slugfest features 4 unique player classes set in the visually stunning world of the hit series “Naruto: Shippuuden” created with state of the art rendering technology:

• Earth Keeper – Melee class equipped with High Defense attributes, specializes in Earth Style techniques that deals massive damages to enemies

Naruto Slugfest game features

Described as the world’s First 3D OPEN WORLD ACTION MMORPG MOBILE GAME, Naruto Slugfest is the mobile game adaptation of Naruto Shippuden, with 4 player classes to choose from. From what I understood, the game will also have solo quests, group and guild confrontations. Aside from this, the game has its own day & night and weather settings to complement the nostalgic Naruto look and feel.

Rein Magbanua of Cubinet Interactive told the media how excited they are to release the game: “We are all here to meet the world’s first Naruto 3D Open World MMORPG Mobile Game Adaptation of Naruto Shippuden. This project has been very exciting for our team, and we aim to bring the same feeling of nostalgia, excitement, and entertainment to the players […]”

Also in the event is notable cosplayer Jin Joson who is the special community representative for the said event. In addition, lucky guests got their fair share of prizes including figures from Greattoysonline.

Aside from the Philippines, Cubizone will be distributing the game to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Australia, Philippines, India, and other Southeast Asian countries. Naruto Slugfest is set to have its closed beta test (CBT) by January 2020.
