I have been invited to attend Welcome to Wonderland’s online tea party last Sunday, August 28, 2022. This is the prelude to the much-awaited event for Lolita, Harajuku and J- Fashion enthusiasts happening around two weeks after. This 4-hour online event was attended by around 50 guests and visitors. We have been covering events at OtaCute in Manila for so long, so we’ve seen how this small venue grew up to become a hotspot for anime culture. In this month’s Otasuke Cosplay Festival, we have not just one but two venues which will cater to everything anime and cosplay. Aside from the LA Village venue which saw a lot of performances, OtaCute is set to debut its Wallstreet venue, opening the door for a wider experience. TOYCON returns to the SM Megamall Megatrade Halls next weekend, July 8 to 10, 2022. Megatrade Hall served as home to TOYCON for a long time, before it moved to SMX Manila in 2016 as its audience grew bigger. What does TOYCON’s return to Megatrade mean to me?
