Decade-long Ozine Fest activity held its last hurrah at recently-concluded Anime Figure Special 2018 At the end of Otaku Expo Reload 2018, I chanced upon Ozine GM Dennis “Ukiya” Uy and Leny from the Ozine Maid Cafe, congratulating them for another event that has passed. Team Twin Star and Team Phoenix selected last Sunday Two teams have participated in the NCR Leg of the World Cosplay Summit Philippines 2019 Qualifiers held at the 13th Christmas Toys and Collectibles Fair at Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City on Sunday, December 16. Western Visayas representative performs Zenki The First Leg for the World Cosplay Summit Philippines 2019 Qualifiers is successfully held at SM City Bacolod last Saturday, October 20. Team Kazoku Saisei (composed of Kate Villarte and PJ Briones) is chosen as the representative for the Western Visayas qualifiers, cosplaying as Chiaki Enno and Zenki from Kishin Douji Zenki respectively. Serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump form 1992 to 1996, Kishin Douji Zenki is a story of the young priestess (miko) Chiaki Enno, and her journey to become the successor to the great Bodhisattva of Japan, Ozunu Enno. ...

In the October 14, 2018 episode of ABS-CBN’s educational program “Matanglawin,” cosplayers including World Cosplay Summit 2018 Team Philippines’ Sergio Sta.
