I felt the lack of taste, but the fluffiness of it made me forgive its flaw. ...

Translation: “No problem,” but really, I read that as “AOTS Spring 2016” This has to be a must-watch anime for bike enthusiasts and people interested in owning a motorcycles, period, hands down. During FLOW’s concert at Ozine Fest 2016, I hanged out with my friends and then we went to Ramen Santouka at the Veranda of the nearby Mall of Asia. Santouka started with lack of satisfaction. Hitoshi Hatanaka and his family got a quick meal in a ramen shop, and he was not satisfied with the taste of the ramen — and considering that they watched a series called Tanpopo (which features a ramen resto), he got inspired to make his own ramen that he can proudly serve to his family and opened shop in Hokkaido in March 1988. ...

This year marks the first decade of the TAGCOM toys & Hobbies Convention organized by Hobby at Worx (formerly Hobbiworx) at the Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall today. Alongside this event is a bazaar and a shoe sale (which have been the big thing there), but nevertheless the place has been calm throughout the day. Second Gunpla I now have a new Gunpla too, and it’s an RX-78 with decals and stuff. It took me a while to do it as I need to make sire that I’m fitting the right pieces. In addition, I learned the use of their plastic cutter tool as well. ...

It’s been a long time since I attended a Cosplay.ph event, so it’s good to hear that they have one in Masinag. For the record, I was supposed to attend Cosplay Mania last year and watch Pile with the fans but due to the issue Deremoe (in which I am its Editor) had before, I was advised not to attend by friends. That same issue made Cosplay.ph’s head Pablo Bairan mention that we are blocked from acquiring media access for CosMania (in which I accept their decision wholeheartedly) as we always criticize their organization. ...

Just earlier, I’ve visited a big gastronomy event at the SMX, and it’s called Madrid Fusion Manila. Apparently, it’s the only Asian edition of the event. The 2016 Madrid Fusion Manila Expo at the SMX Convention Center — Manila in Pasay City showcases a lot of food products from the Philippines and Spain. This year’s theme, “The Manila Galleon: East Meets West,” features a galleon-designed “tunnel” showcasing various activities with the food aficionado in mind. ...

Before I get busy with work, I want to kick the week with some useful pieces of information: 90% of what you smell is what you taste, There’s this this called “coffee tasting,” where you smell, slurp, locate and describe the coffee, There’s a difference between the milk used in latte and the milk in frappe, The darker the coffee roast, the deeper the body it has (and the lesser the acidity it has), The Arabica breed of coffee is more susceptible to diseases than the Robusta breed that is used in instant coffee, and more. That’s what I’ve learned during the Starbucks Coffee Appreciation Festival at the Shangri-la Plaza Mall yesterday. I’ve tasted shots of different Starbucks blends, and I even got a caramel latte. ...

It’s been three days since I’ve watched μ’s Final Love Live at SM Megamall with my bros, and what I did are the following: Sang along with the songs that I know, Cheered for μ’s as wild as I can with the lightstick (I’ll refer to it as a “light blade”) that is lent to me occasionally, Had my soul cry out as they cry as well (especially during the final moments of the double encore), and Set up an event page “Iyakan sa Megamall” prior to the event (either way, we all had manly tears) based on the popular NSFW event meme. It’s really a great feeling that I was able to witness the last moments of the group, which is said to have blurred the line between reality and fantasy (hence, 2.5D), and I am still at a loss of words on how to explain it. Also, Aya Uchida (as Kotori) sure did a great job making that 2.5D happen. ...
