Which anime am I watching this Spring?

Girl, we watch anime because we don’t want drama — so it feels awkward when you say this. A brief backgrounder on my watchlist Alrighty guys — here’s some of the series that I am watching after work, because anime is life. Let me know if you can guess my taste in anime for this season by responding here on Medium. Catch you all later! Ren’ai Bou-kun has a catchy opening theme (thank you Wake Up, Girls!), has a Nunu and Harami in it, and Yoppi has her own first main character debut aside from WUG and Scorching Ping Pong Girls. Its first few moments are enjoyable and funny, but I am afraid that the story might turn bland and repetitive — let’s see how long I will go for this. ...

What is @fildub?

I asked @fildub 3 questions - Obviously, there were follow-ups. Mga kapatid at ka fildub, ‘wag kalimutan ang Voltron on TV5 mamayang 5:45PM! pic.twitter.com/Qx53MwduZc — TV5 (@TV5manila) January 31, 2017 It all started with a tweet: When TV5 AniMEGA referred to our subject in one of their tweets, I knew I had to ask questions. Hi everyone! While I’m away from the keyboard at the moment, let me tell you about this project called @fildub, which has gradually made a quaint community on Twitter — and eventually, it got noticed by a major TV network’s anime block (let’s just say that the ones who handle the block’s social media handles are very cool because they know what’s up in the anime-viewing community and how to approach it). ...

Here’s what I am expected to watch this Winter

Once again, Happy New Year! I have rarely written longer stuff nowadays, so on this free time that I have I shall discuss what I am expected to watch this Winter Anime Season. For further reference, you can check out Neregate’s image chart (or see AniChart or LiveChart). Akiba’s Trip the Animation What I always think about this series, aside from being a game adaptation, is that it’s the second season of one of my favorite industry-related titles Sore ga Seiyuu. (I’ve watched this just recently, FYI.) ...

SM City East Ortigas

(Formerly the Ever Gotesco Ortigas Complex) Today’s video is taken from the newly-opened SM City East Ortigas SM Supermalls’ 60th mall. Formerly the Ever Gotesco Ortigas Complex, SM got the property after it was listed as one of Ever’s assets that are disposed (more of this on a 2014 Manila Standard story about tycoon Lucio Tan expanding the University of the East, which is somehow related). ...

I went and see the Cebu Capitol in my last night here

Photos of the Day — 4 December 2016 Our event at the Cebu Trade Hall has ended, and to cap off the night, I took a night stroll after we sort things out. I took this while I’m waiting to cross the other side of Osmeña Boulevard, and if you see this in person, it’s beautiful — I guess it’s more gorgeous during the day. Prior to this, I stumbled upon a resto called “Coffee Prince.” I think this was named after the hit Korean series. ...

The Pasig Revolving Tower reopens after three decades.

Here’s what you may have missed from this precious landmark I posted pictures from January here, and one of the photos I’ve posted is about a landmark in the City of Pasig. Never in my wildest dreams will I get to step inside that tower that I’m just looking from far away. The Rotary Club of Mutya ng Pasig, of which I am a member, was invited by the City Government to partake in the half-day filled with awe and nostalgia. ...
