For the first time in its run since 2013, the Philippines gets a major award in the World Cosplay Summit. “Team Reality,” “Team Kanor Cubes” to represent NCR in WCSPH 2017

Part of the activities during the Toys and Collectibles Fair of the Asian Comics, Toys and Hobbies Collective at the Megatrade Hall 2 last December 18 is the NCR Qualifiers for World Cosplay Summit Philippines 2017. Team Reality (who did a skit from Sword Art Online) and Team Kanor Cubes (who did a Nintendo-inspired skit) were declared winners by default. Team Starseeker

Let’s take a look at our 2016 delegates to the World Cosplay Summit Sending this video here for everyone to see — this is a video from Davao, where Team Starseeker won the WCSPH National Finals for 2016 and will represent the country in the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan. I’ve taken a look at the Facebook profiles of the team, and based on their info, both of them are craftsmakers, who own their own respective cosplay craft shops.
