Tired of watching anime and reading manga? Why not read a light novel in one subscription?

Imagine this: You’ve been watching Crunchyroll on your mobile phone during commute. As the day ends your eyes are glued in their manga section. You’ve been doing this for quite a long time that you got bored.

You’ve been to J-Novel Club and got turned off because you need a separate subscription to access it.

Here’s the thing: If you are subscribed to Crunchyroll’s Super Fan Pack, you can now access it.

Here’s a brief press release from J-Novel Club:

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA — September 3rd, 2018 — J-Novel Club LLC is proud to announce a partnership with Crunchyroll to include J-Novel Club Membership to subscribers of recently announced Crunchyroll Super Fan Pack. Coming soon, subscribers will be able to read all of the latest light novels from J-Novel Club, as they are being translated, using J-Novel Club’s website or mobile apps, as well as all other benefits from being normal J-Novel Club Members. Now you can fuel your love of anime by reading the light novels your favorite shows are based on, or better yet, read the books that will become the next big anime hits of the future!

I tried searching for this Super Fan Pack but I was only able to see this help page article, so I assume that this package is like a super super rare card. I am told that the first thing you’ll see if you just signed up with Crunchyroll now, so I hope that answers the question.

For comparison, a J-Novel Club Membership is only $4.50 (around Php240 — click to see conversion) a month for an annual subscription (around Php2,900) including weekly releases of more than 25 ongoing series such as “How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord”, “Infinite Dendrogram”, “Invaders of the Rokujouma!?”, “If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord”, “Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest”, “Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash”, “The Faraway Paladin”, “In Another World With My Smartphone”, “How a Realistic Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom”, among others.
