It’s been long since I saw a mention of the World Cosplay Summit on TV — and this one’s so major I am pulling this story up here for the record.

In the October 14, 2018 episode of ABS-CBN’s educational program “Matanglawin,” cosplayers including World Cosplay Summit 2018 Team Philippines’ Sergio Sta. Ana appeared in a segment about Cosplay and Cosplay Mania 2018, with scenes shot at the event itself.

On this segment, Sta. Ana raised awareness of the World Cosplay Summit and the World Cosplay Championship held last August.

The main feature on this segment is cosplayer Jin Joson and an interview with her fan Naru (friend ko po sa Facebook).

The Summit has been mentioned before on Philippine television, as then ABS-CBN cable channel HERO TV is among its partners.
