#Back2Eating presents a new sushi hangout at the new Ayala Malls the 30th in Meralco Ave., Pasig

I capped off the night by crashing in Chad’s (Reimaru Files) company at the new Ayala Malls the 30th in Meralco Avenue, Pasig for some delicious sushi at Genki Sushi.

They deliver the food through carts (a la shinkansen), and the staff are there to make sushi, pick up the dishes on the table or assist in billing or what not.

There’s a lot of choices at Genki Sushi, and it reminds me of the time when I want to go to a similar resto during my high school days but wasn’t able to do so since I’m not that rich to afford to eat there.

I ordered the common Tuna Maki (around Php70), and the sauce complements well. I had a taste of the Natto Sushi, and I liked its taste — I just need the ginger and we’re good. Oh wait, the ginger was so delicious we all want to bring it home.

Overall, Genki Sushi is OK. The ambiance, the way they deliver the food, the unlimited green tea, and the taste of their dishes. The only con here is that there’s a service charge of around Php200, so it’s best to gather in groups of six or buy takeaways from them. I rate this resto 9 sushis over 10.

Genki Sushi’s located at the second floor of Corte (the malls’ al fresco dining area), and the mall’s just beside the Renaissance Towers and near St. Paul College Pasig. Thanks Chad and co. for having me in a sudden #Back2Eating session.
