The month of November is also a month to explore Japanese culture as Japan Fiesta 2019 will be held on the said month in Taguig City.
Japan Fiesta 2019 is a showcase of Japanese culture. This event is recommended to those who plan to visit Japan, eat delicious Japanese food and celebrate the unique Japanese culture.
Organized by the Japan Fiesta Council (composed of the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, Japan National Tourism Organization Manila Office, the Japan Foundation, Manila, the Japanese Association, Manila, Inc. and Primer Media, Inc.), the event is set to be held at SMX Convention Center Aura inside SM Aura Premier on the weekend of November 09-10, 2019.
Travel destinations, special guest performances and exhibits from Japanese companies are out to satiate the Japanese fan in all of us.
Japan Fiesta’s Featured Destinations
Here we understood that Japan has cities like the Tokyo Metropolis and Osaka City in Kansai Prefecture. The thing is, there is more to Japan than just these places.
At Japan Fiesta 2019, the regions of Hokkaido, Tohoku and Kyushu and the prefectures of Niigata and Okinawa will be part of the travel spotlight. Some of the booths include Hokkaido, Central Japan, Okinawa, Tohoku Japan and Yuzawa Town Tourist Association.
Main Travel Attractions at Japan Fiesta
Those who know Japan better may have heard or been to Universal Studios Japan, shopped at Don Quijote for souvenirs, or hopped on a JR East or JR Kyushu train. Some would even want to have a sense of how Japanese weddings work by immersing themselves
Of course, word of mouth experience won’t be enough to have the alienated understand the full Japanese travel experience. This is what Japan Fiesta aims to solve by having these brands as part of the said event. All of the aforementioned brands plus Rokko Butter Ltd. and Discovery Japan Photo Wedding will be welcoming Filipinos who want to have a bigger slice of the Japanese experience.
Special guests at Japan Fiesta 2019
Japan Fiesta 2019’s guest list include VJ Robi Domingo, Pinoy Big Brother Otso comedy tandem Fumiya and Yamyam, pop superstar Sarah Geronimo and AKB48’s Filipina sister group MNL48.
The list also includes Japanese drum artist Wakodaiko, professional yo-yo performer BLACK (Tomonari Ishiguro), several e-sports pros and the iconic Pokemon Pikachu.
