I’m not yet tired. I’m brimming with passion, passion that was fueled by me going to Cosplay Mania 2022 last weekend. I spent the whole weekend being blessed with a lot of cosplay photos, and I have a rough estimate that 90% of it are VTuber cosplays, because yes, I’m covering the event for NewsDrop, and I’m looking forward to sharing relevant stuff there soon.
Also, the event was covered in The Philippine STAR front page. By now I think I’m not the only one who has noticed this.
For now, let me say that it’s Monday, I love my job, and I have to finish backlogs. What I’m going to share today are selfies from this event, followed by quick captions.
Aesterius Quartet. Hews was here, and we had a short chat about how things are going with Twitter in Indonesia.My media colleagues Allen and Emile. Whenever I see fellow media guys around, I say hi. At YashinLive’s booth, cosplayer Lola (@animewifey_) dressed up as Dasu. I also got to say hi to Maddie, who just had her Coronation Day a few days ago. You got to see how me and my friends coerced Madekuji into having a photo-op with her together, it was hilarious.Ah yes, the flower stands for Hololive Indonesia VTubers who are guesting in the event. My name was perfectly displayed smack dab in the middle of the thank you board, and I like that.Project Solaria. These two standees at the Tali-papa Circle booth represent Tsukimi Lune and Verudemi, talents of Project Solaria.
Tsukimi Lune is Anime Corner’s mascot and VTuber talent, and after my departure at AC, she is now under the care of Project Solaria. Veru, on the other hand, was an independent VTuber who’s behind the @PHVTuberLive bot. She became part of Solaria just before September ended.
I met Kitsui Akira in person as she performs on stage. She’s the way we saw her in this standee, cute and fluffy.Cornelia Star at Gamer’s High! booth. She is selling Tasty Treats again, this time it’s air-fried. Still delicious.Pomu! I partly pitched in to this cosplan knowing that Hamu can do it well. I am so astonished, my falsetto voice popped out. Thank you Hamu; thank you very much.Capping off this photo blog is me and Yuusachii, whom you might have known as that VTuber from Project Kokonatsu who cosplayed as herself last Cosplay Carnival 2022. This time, she cosplayed as Lyrica, one of the popular Filipino VTubers of her time who also shares the same name as Pfizer’s prescription brands,
